About Prof. Dr. Tridip Pantha

Prof. Dr. Tridip Pantha is a Professor and Senior Consultant in ENT and Head & Neck Surgery at the National Academy of Medical Sciences (NAMS), Bir Hospital, Kathmandu, Nepal. With over two decades of clinical, academic, and research experience, he is recognized as one of Nepal's leading ENT surgeons, providing comprehensive care for disorders of the ear, nose, throat, thyroid, salivary glands, and head & neck.

Dr. Pantha has successfully performed thousands of ENT and Head & Neck surgical procedures, earning a reputation for surgical precision, evidence-based practice, and compassionate patient care. His clinical expertise includes the diagnosis and management of both routine and complex ENT conditions using modern medical and surgical techniques.

He has received advanced fellowship training in allergy management, with specialized expertise in the evaluation and treatment of allergic rhinitis and asthma in both children and adults. In addition, he has received advanced training in Endoscopic Sinus Surgery and Rhinoplasty both within Nepal and at internationally recognized centers abroad, enabling him to provide state-of-the-art surgical care for patients with complex sinonasal disorders and nasal deformities.

Areas of Special Clinical Interest

Beyond his clinical practice, Dr. Pantha is actively involved in medical education and research. As a Professor at NAMS, he teaches undergraduate and postgraduate medical students, mentors ENT residents, and contributes to the training of future ENT surgeons.

He has authored numerous peer-reviewed scientific publications and has presented his work at national and international conferences, contributing to the advancement of ENT and Head & Neck Surgery in Nepal.

Dr. Pantha has also served as the Former Joint Secretary of the Society of Otolaryngologists of Nepal, where he contributed to the professional development of ENT specialists and the promotion of high standards of patient care throughout the country.
